Idle Free Systems, Inc., hired auxiliary power unit (APU) product support specialist, Patrick (Pat) Fleishauer, as national director of field services for its North American APU distributor network.

Idle Free Systems manufactures electric idle elimination solutions for the trucking industry. Fleishauer will work with all the Idle Free sales and service partners that support the demand for idle elimination systems on the market.

Before joining Idle Free, Fleishauer worked with the United States Air Forces for 20 years, focusing on customer service, then for Glacier Bay Technology as director of product support.

Most recently, he was director of field services for Crosspoint Solutions Group, a rival company.
